Eleven EAST Students attended the Annual EAST Preconference hosted by UACCB on Wednesday, February 20, 2013. EAST will be attending the National EAST Conference February 27, 28, and March 1 in Hot Springs, AR. The preconference provides an opportunity for all the area EAST schools to practice setting up their booths and making their presentations before a large group. It also provides an opportunity for us to hear what other EAST programs in our area are accomplishing in their communities. Presenters for Southside are Seniors Kirstin Brown and Anthony Adams and assisted by Junior Keagan Allen. Thanks to Tamara Griffin at UACCB for organizing this event. UACCB provides lunch for the students and will give tours of the campus if requested.
