Elementary has teamed up with High School in order to form a mentor program for several 3rd grade students. This program consist of 18 high school students. For about 30 minutes every Tuesday the high school students tutor the elementary students. Some of the subjects they work on range from spelling to working on their lay-up shots. This has been proven to be a great confidence booster for not only the younger students but also to older students. Hopefully this program will continue to grow so that more students can be reached.
